DANNY MILLS’ late goal earned Welling United a deserved point in a hard-fought game with Wealdstone.
Chances were few in a physical first half.
Connor Stevens headed over from Joe Payne’s cross before he put the visitors ahead in the 21st minute. A corner was half-cleared and Stevens was given space to fire home.
Jake Sheppard for Wealdstone and Matthew Paterson of Welling were off target before Bradley Bubb went on a good run but shot into the sidenetting.
