HAVING ended their record losing streak with a County Cup win on Tuesday, Staines were pleased to collect three vital points in manager Rob Easom’s first home league game.
After a moving moment of remembrance involving officials of both clubs and the young Swans mascots, a fierce Harry Agombar free-kick for Staines on 24 minutes drew a flying save from Will Henry, giving Agombar another dead ball, this time a corner.
He floated it in, and it was powerfully met by the head of new skipper Tanasheh Abrahams to put the hosts one-up.
