FRANNIE Collin’s spot-kick fired Margate to all three points at Leatherhead.
A flicked header by Liam Friend went wide of the post on eight minutes while the hosts’ Robert Cullen had a couple of shots on 17 minutes, neither troubling Henry Newcombe.
After a bit of Leatherhead, pressure Shaun Okojie had a header which was comfortably saved by Newcombe on 22 minutes while Ben Swift nearly put the ball into his own net on 29 minutes after pressure from the forward.
