HARROGATE Town superfan George Dunnington has been named the National League’s Volunteer of the Month for October.
George, pictured, has been involved with Harrogate Town since the 1960’s, in a number of roles including groundsman, director, club secretary, head of ground maintenance as well as a fund raiser.
Now in his 80s, he has never taken a penny from the club but still heads up stadium maintenance and can still be found at the ground more often than not.
