JORDAN NICHOLSON’S late goal rescued a point for Darlington after they trailed by two goals.
Struggling Hereford looked set to claim victory through efforts from Tom Owen-Evans either side of half-time.
Owen-Evans’s first was a speculative shot on 15 minutes that slipped through the grasp of onloan Middlesbrough keeper Zach Hemming.
The young Quakers struggled to respond, their attacking play was laboured, and just before the break Ben O’Hanlon missed a golden chance.
