HORSHAM produced a superb team performance to blow away high-flying VCD Athletic at Culver Road.
The hosts took the lead when Chris Smith latched on to Jack Brivio’s pass and slotted home, and they doubled their lead on 13 minutes thanks to a wonderful sidefooted effort by Rob O’Tookle, the Hornets man sweeping in behind his standing leg.
The visitors hemmed Horsham back during the early exchanges of the second half but the Hornets effectively killed off the game just after the hour-mark when O’Toole slammed home inside the box.
