SADDLING UP FOR A CHARITY TRIP TO THE DAM

AMSTERDAM is, apparently, 145 miles away.
Admittedly, a large chunk of the unclaimed mileage is a boat ride from Harwich but, London to the Dam, 145 miles.
I am armed with this knowledge because our friends at Prostate Cancer UK have convinced The NLP to cycle there in June 2019.
The annual Football to Amsterdam ride has become part of the calendar and, along with NLP editor Alex Narey, I will be saddling up for the ride.
I have a bike, I have lycra, I even have those clip-in shoes – it is as embarrassing as you can imagine falling off outside your house because you can’t unclip...
