YORK CITY ended their six-game wait for a National League North win by defeating FC United of Manchester.
A goal in each half from Alex Harris and Jordan Burrow secured the points for the Minstermen. But the visitors, who went into the game having matched their best-ever away run at sixth-tier level following three consecutive triumphs on their travels, were unfortunate to trail at half-time having dominated for long periods and home keeper Adam Bartlett was presented with the man-of-thematch champagne.
