AN AFTERNOON that was dominated by the conditions saw Nantwich and South Shields play to a bore draw.
Both sides had chances to take all three points, although a draw was a fair reflection as the Dabbers extended their lead at the top of the table to three points.
South Shields claimed a good point on the road, their first draw of the campaign.
The first quarter of the game was one-way traffic for the visitors as South Shields bombarded the Nantwich backline despite the thrashing rain that fell in South Cheshire.
