Ben back in the goals for Shaymen

HALIFAX boss Jamie Fullarton’s gamble to rush Ben Tomlinson back into action paid off, as he struck a late winner in his first match for over three months.
To say Tomlinson’s strike was against the run of play is putting mildly, as the Shaymen were struggling to weather the storm from the Bluebirds.
The hosts struck the woodwork four times, but Halifax won’t care how their first away win since the opening day of the season came about, as they booked their place in round two.
