RANGERS SINK TO HERALD END OF AN ERA

SOUTHERN Combination basement side St Francis Rangers have folded following the resignation of their latest manager.
The Division One outfit resigned from the league this week following the departure of Jack Stevens and a 6-0 home defeat by Hassocks, leaving them bottom having won only two of their 16 league games.
A club statement said: “Almost three years to the day we were dubbed ‘the worst football team in England’ and contemplated pulling out then, but we could not afford the fine.
