BARNSTAPLE Town remain rooted to the bottom of the table after a crushing 5-0 home defeat at the hands of Cirencester Town.
The away side took the lead in the first minute when the experienced Alan Griffin scored with a near post header following a corner from Ellis Dunton.
Barum had a golden opportunity to equalise after a poor clearance from visiting keeper Luke Merchant landed at the feet of Jack Langford, but his effort went narrowly wide of the far post.
