A SEVENTH-MINUTE goal was enough to give Stalybridge the points with a narrow win at Grantham.
Grantham began the game brightly but fell behind when Stalybridge hit the bar following a corner and in the resulting scramble, Andy Scott forced the ball home.
Shaun Harrad had a shot on the turn saved by Stalybridge keeper Jake Turner whilst he also saved well under pressure from Grantham’s Chris Salt following a free-kick.
At the other end, home goalie Jordan Wright saved well at his near post from Scott Bakkor.
