WELLING returned to winning ways with victory over Truro City in a goal-fest.
Harvey Rivers saved well from Matt Paterson before Welling went ahead. John Paul Kissock was fouled in the area and though Rivers got a hand to Bradley Goldberg’s penalty, it had sufficient power to go in. Goldberg had a shot deflected on to the post before Dan Rooney was first to a long ball forward and lifted it over the on-rushing Dan Wilks, but wide of the far post.
