BELPER TOWN lost 3-1 at home to high-flying Brighouse Town, who are soaring in second-place.
The visitors started the game strongly and broke the deadlock through Aaron Martin, who slid the ball past Belper goalkeeper Leigh Overton.
The home team responded quickly though, as less than five minutes later they were level.
Piteu Crouz’s fizzed cross hit Kurt Harris and the ball flew into the defender’s own net.
Just over ten minutes into the second-half, Brighouse regained the lead after captain Adam Field headed home from a corner.
