TWOphenomenal strikes from Glen Taylor helped Spennymoor claim a comprehensive victory over National League Sutton United.
Taylor hit a sweetly struck volley midway through the first half to give Moors the lead then doubled the advantage shortly after the hour, powering in a half-volley from a tight angle past the impressive Karlo Ziger.
Andrew Johnson, who made a habit of scoring in the FA Trophy last season, rounded off a memorable day for Jason Ainsley’s side after adding a third nine minutes from the final whistle.
