DAN MAGUIRE says Blyth Spartans beating Boreham Wood showed they can mix it with Non-League’s top tier.
The 26-year-old former England C striker scored the winner against National League Wood in the FA Trophy – a goal which took his Spartans total up to 150 and further underlined his reputation as one of Non-League’s most lethal goalscorers.
Next up is, arguably, an even sterner test from Step 1 with the National League North side making the long trip south to take on league leaders Leyton Orient.
