THE IVES went in front in 19th minute when Ollie Snaith found acres of space on the edge of the visitors box as he received a Mark Coulson through ball and threaded a low shot past the diving Alex Street and in off the post.
Snaith was denied a second early in the second period by a sharp save from Street. He was even more unlucky in 50th minute as an attempted hack clear from the keeper arrived at his feet 30 yards out.
