JULIAN Dicks’ Heybridge Swifts capitalised on Aveley’s slip up to move into third in the table after a dominant 2-0 win against AFC Sudbury.
The hosts suffered their second defeat of the season last time out against Soham Town Rangers, but they showed no after-effects from the disappointment by dominating early proceedings.
Swifts were ahead inside 22 minutes when a whipped cross was nodded home by captain and centre half Luke Wilson to send the 315 fans in attendance delirious.
