WOKING returned to winning ways with their first success in three league games putting more pressure on non-playing league leaders Torquay.
Dave Tarpey netted his first Woking goal before efforts from Greg Luer and Jake Hyde sealed a comfortable win.
The Cards created the first chance of the match when Tarpey’s shot was acrobatically tipped over the bar by East Thurrock goalkeeper Jake Giddens.
But he didn’t have to wait long before he opened his Woking account.
