RUSHDEN recorded an important victory in the race for the play-offs as they narrowly defeated fourth-placed King’s Lynn.
The visitors went into the contest having lost only one of their last 22 league games, and they should have taken an early lead when a closerange header was brilliantly saved by home keeper Ben Heath.
