DARLINGTON were denied victory deep into stoppage time when substitute Josh Wilson saved a point for leaders Chorley.
He headed home from close-range three minutes into added on time to devastate Darlo and ensure the Magpies stay top by a point. The Quakers had not scored in either of their two previous games, leading to manager Tommy Wright having a radical rethink, making five changes and altering their formation.
