HARRIERS stayed on the heels of the play-offchasing pack thanks to a hard-fought win that more or less condemns FC United of Manchester to relegation.
In a game that the visitors dominated for long periods without forcing home keeper Andy Fisher into any saves of note, they took all the points thanks to Joe Ironside’s penalty just after the half-hour. The early pressure came from the Harriers, with Ashley Chambers and Liam McAlinden trying shots from distance that the Blackburn loanee dealt with comfortably.
