ST ALBANS celebrated their 111th birthday in style with their firstever win at Twerton Park, consigning Bath to their first home defeat of 2019.
Bath nearly led early on. Jack Batten’s stinging shot was parried by Saints keeper Dean Snedker and Adam Mann fired the rebound against the bar. The Saints made full use of this escape on 15 minutes when Khale Da Costa’s corner was powerfully headed past Bath custodian Ryan Clarke by an unmarked Clovis Kamdjo.
