A FIRST half goal from Reece King saw the ten-man hosts take all three points and leave Celtic looking over their shoulders at the drop zone.
It was the visitors who started the brighter and Michael Howard whistled an effort just over the crossbar in the sixth minute before going down in the penalty area – with his appeals being waved away.
Hednesford took the lead on 15 minutes when a long Ben Bailey throw was flicked home by King from six yards out.
