SPALDING earned a vital away point at Marske in a game that hinged on Glen Butterworth’s red card.
The visitors enjoyed the better of the early going, despite losing Archie Moyses to injury.
Isaac Cooper thought he’d put Spalding ahead but his effort was cleared off the line by Adam Wheatley.
Marske took the lead on 43 minutes when a loose ball in the box was turned in from close range by Curtis Round. Marske started the better in the second half but the game turned on the 55th-minute red card.
