CARLOS GETS

FORMER Trinidad and Tobago and Sunderland and Wrexham player Carlos Edwards has been promoted to joint first-team manager at Woodbridge Town.
Edwards, who still plays for the high-riding Eastern Counties Premier Division side at the age of 40, will work alongside existing boss James Scales and coach Glenn Snell.
As a coach at the Ipswich Town Centre of Excellence, Edwards sees managing senior players as a step forward in his career. Edwards played for his country in the 2006 World Cup Finals in Germany, and has also turned out for Wrexham, Ipswich, Luton Town and Millwall. Edwards signed fo...
