Steve Watson’s men were in control from the first whistle against a Leamington side that have never beaten York in five attempts, with a goal in each half from strikers Alex Kempster and Jordan Burrow pocketing the points.
The Brakes, meanwhile, have now failed to secure a shut-out during their last 17 away matches – a sequence that dates back to their 3-0 November win at relegation-bound Nuneaton.
