HAMPTON finally picked up their first point of the season as they put together a solid performance against Billericay.
Both sides had early chances, Alfie Potter’s shot for Ricay was saved by keeper Laurie Walker, before Cole Brown’s attempt was blocked by Alan Julian in the Billericay goal.
The Beavers took the lead on 37 minutes, as Brown calmly slotted away a penalty following a clumsy challenge on Ryan Hill by Billericay’s Jordan Parkes, as the midfielder looked for an opening to shoot.
