RUSSELL Slade’s reign as Hereford manager began with a lacklustre goalless draw at Edgar Street.
And it was Boston who had the better of proceedings as they forced 11 corners to the Bulls’ four without being able to unlock the home defence.
Hereford had the first clear chance of the opening half when Brad Ash let fly on the turn from 20 yards. The ball squirmed under the grasp of goal keeper Peter Crook but dribbled inches wide of the goal.
