GRANTHAM’S unbeaten start to the season came to an end with a 4-0 defeat to Whitby Town.
Whitby got off to a perfect start and found themselves three goals up after just 18 minutes.
Bradley Fewster lost his footing in front of goal as early as the fourth minute but a minute later Arran Wearmouth made no mistake finding the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Two minutes later Whitby made it 2-0. Despite the assistant flagging goal kick the referee gave a corner and from the resultant kick Daniel Rowe headed powerfully home.
