INJURY-PLAGUED Eastbourne Borough nearly snatched victory in a topsy-turvy clash which came to life in the final quarter hour.
Having earlier whipped a free-kick narrowly wide, Boro’s Ross Stearn was more fortunate with his second effort from distance.
Invited to shoot from 25 yards, his drive took a heavy deflection off Manny Adebowale and wrong-footed home stopper Tom Hadler.
Ryan Clarke had his gloves warmed by Charlie Walker’s free-kick and Stearn couldn’t fully connect with Joe Raynes’ inviting cross in a gripping half...
