STOPPER SETS UP STONES TO STRETCH LEAD AT TOP

WEALDSTONE extended their lead at the top of the National League South with a hard earned win.
After an entertaining but goalless first half, they burst into a two goal lead before withstanding a late Welling surge and fightback.
Stopper Aston Oxborough made great saves early and late on that were crucial to the Stones victory.
After making one stunning stop from an Adam Coombes header in the opening stages, the keeper stood up well in injury time to block a shot from Welling substitute Aaron Cosgrave who would have equalise.
