TWO levels separated the sides on paper, but it was four goals on the field as Hayes & Yeading dealt with this tricky tie.
Lyle Della-Verde opened the scoring on eight minutes from a through ball by Dejon Noel-Williams. Badshot Lea had their chances.
Liam Flanighan’s header landed on the roof of the net and Nick Medcraft shot wide.
Just before the break, a Toby Little free-kick was parried by Kallum Lynn but sent straight back into the area by Jack Williams where James Clark knocked the ball home from eight yards out.
