STEVE King sealed his first win in charge of Dartford to move them up the National League South table after defeating Eastbourne Borough.
In torrential conditions at Priory Lane, the Sports were unable to take advantage of the wind in the first half as they failed to really test the Dartford defence, and they fell behind after half an hour.
Borough were caught out at the back after Luke Allen played a great ball over the top to Norman Wabo, who broke clear of the defence and fired low past keeper Tom Hadler.
