RADCLIFFE ran out narrow winners as they edged past Stalybridge Celtic on a wet and rainy afternoon at the Neuven Stadium.
Ben Wharton netted the only goal of the game from the penalty spot after a clumsy challenge on Liam Ellis in the box.
And Boro hung on to claim three vital points to help them climb into 15th spot with four games in hand on the teams around them.
