RAIN played havoc with the schedule in the Southern League South as five matches were called off due to waterlogged pitches.
And in the two games that did get played, the weather played a huge part in proceedings, as horrible conditions made goalscoring difficult.
Top-of-the-table Frome Town saw off 15thplaced Sholing, thanks to a late winner from Rex Mannings.
The game looked destined to be heading for a frustrating draw for the home side, before Mannings scored his fifth goal in four games.
