JACK Bowen fired Daventry Town to an emphatic 4-1 victory over Wantage Town to consolidate their play-off position and heap further misery on their struggling visitors.
It was a performance of real quality when it mattered most and the they will be delighted with their effort, energy and ultimately the scoreline.
It was a comfortable afternoon for Darran Foster’s side, who easily brushed aside their bottom- place opponents with a ruthless performance to now sit fourth in the table and eight points adrift of leaders Berkhamstead.
