DARREN Kelly has resigned from his role as sporting director at Hyde United in an attempt to return to management at a club closer to home.
Kelly, the former York City defender and Oldham Athletic and FC Halifax Town boss, was appointed the man in charge of the Tigers in 2016 and led the club to promotion and the FA Cup first round in 2018.
