DORKING edged out fellow play-off contenders Weymouth in a hard-fought contest at Meadowbank.
Wanderers pressed well in the opening stages and were rewarded from a corner ball on seven minutes, Jimmy Muitt nodding home an initial Ed Harris header from close range.
Weymouth pushed for a quick equaliser. Ben Thomson was found in space in the middle of the penalty area from a daisycutter cross from the right channel but couldn’t muster any power with his strike.
