SUBSTITUTE Chris Paul fired Havant’s winner four minutes from time, but only after ten-man Chippenham belied their lowly league position by taking promotion-chasing Havant & Waterlooville all the way.
The battling Bluebirds went toe-to-toe with their lofty hosts, even after Ilias Yousseffwas sent off by referee Tom Bishop for raising his hands to Ha- vant’s Bradley Tarbuck amid a melee.
Up to that point, chances had been shared by the two sides but it was Havant who led by the solitary goal on 65 minutes.
