JAMIE Williams has been appointed manager of Woodley United.
Williams has been promoted from reserve team boss to replace Jon Laugharne, who quit after last Saturday’s Hellenic League Division One 6-1 home defeat to Wokingham & Emmbrook, which left the club second from bottom.
Laugharne had been in charge since the start of last season after he took over from James Anderson following the club’s relegation from the Hellenic Premier. Williams will be assisted by former first-team skipper Adam Barnard and goalkeeping coach Rachael Laws.
