SOUTHEND United defender Harry Lennon has apologised after being filmed in a pub with Dover Athletic players just hours after losing to the National League side in the FA Cup. The League One club suffered a humiliating 1-0 defeat in the first round live on BT Sport last month.
A video on social media showed the centre-back, 24, in a pub wearing his Southend tracksuit after the match, which he had arranged in advance to go out with a group, including Dover player Jack Munns, and was not “celebrating the outcome of the game”.
