ON A day when many matches fell foul of the weather, the award-winning pitch at Holloways Park provided the perfect surface for Beaconsfield Town and Hayes & Yeading to serve up a fine feast of football for the decent-sized crowd.
And it was Hayes who eventually left with the three points, as a ten-minute second-half blitz proved enough to deny Beaconsfield any festive cheer.
