FROME TOWN’S much-anticipated table- topping clash with Thatcham Town was abandoned with 20 minutes remaining due to the adverse weather conditions.
Frome were 2-0 to the good when the referee brought a premature end to the contest, with just under a quarter of the match remaining when the rain that had fallen since the start of the second half got heavier.
