Leaders leave it late to strike

MICHAEL Gash’s second- half strike earned King’s Lynn a point away to Alfreton Town.
Alfreton looked to record their first home league win since September against table-toppers King’s Lynn, on the back of a poor festive period.
Amari Morgan-Smith opened the scoring for Alfreton, when he latched on to a long goal-kick, and hit his half-volley past Alexander Street in the King’s Lynn goal after four minutes.
The lead was shortlived however, as the visitors levelled just a minute later through Adam Marriott.
