EASTBOURNE BOROUGH ended 2019 by bouncing back from Boxing Day’s disappointing defeat at the hands of Dorking Wanderers to see off Welling United and return to winning ways.
After an even start to the contest at Priory Lane, Borough quickly got themselves on the front foot with Dean Cox just off target after good work from Nick Wheeler.
And Danny Bloor’s side took full advantage of their good start when they went in front midway through the first half, Cox picking out Charlie Walker before the striker volleyed beyond Wings keeper ...
