AS GOALLESS draws go this was as good at it gets, a competitive battle between two open footballing sides who both just lacked the final killer ball.
In the opening half, both sides had decent spells of attacking play but all resulted in efforts either off-target or simple saves for goalkeepers Jack Smith and Tiverton debutant Neal Osborn.
The second half saw more of the same, Gabriel Piorkowski sent his effort beyond the far post for the home side and Tivvy’s Jordan Bastin saw his header loop off the bar, all within the opening six minutes...
