AT LAST, it appears Mark Goldberg has seen the light.
The decision to dispense with the services of one of the division’s most successful managers in Steve King was, quite frankly, a disgrace.
For the chairman, this was solely about vanity. He thought he could do a better job than King, sacked him and took over the manager’s reigns. The result, Welling sliding from the play-off places to third bottom of the National League South.
King, meanwhile, has passed him on the way up. He has taken his new club, our big rivals Dartford, from the lower reaches of the division into promotio...
