AN end-to-end encounter saw FC United of Manchester continue their great recent form with a last-gasp win on the Yorkshire coast.
Whitby were unbeaten since mid-December but were pushed back in a drab first half. Alex Curran’s low parry to his left denied Whitby’s Shane Bland, while at the other end Paul Blackett chipped an 18-yard half-volley narrowly over the crossbar.
